New Magdalen Hospital at Streatham
The extensive range of buildings for the new Magdalen Asylum recently erected at the rear of the railway asylum at Streatham is now nearly completed, and the inmates at present located in the old hospital in the Blackfriar's Road will be forthwith removed to the new institution. The new hospital extends over 8 acres of land. A church has been built within the grounds, for the public in common with the inmates.
