Herefordshire Dispensary

The Dispensary, in Union Street, was established in 1835; it is supported by a Committee of 20; the present dispensary, a building of stone in an ornamental style, was erected in 1880-81, under the direction of Messrs James Davies and Lewis Powell, architects, and consists of a receiving room with a separate office for each physician and a Committee room.

The number of patients relieved on application during the year 1898-1899 was 3,835, and during the previous year 3,735.
