North Charitable Infirmary - Beds 100 - In Patients 794

Mercy Hospital - Beds 70 In Patients 400 Out Patients 5,000 Admission free. Respectable persons who can afford it pay small sums weekly, acording to their means.

Fever Hospital and House of Recovery - Beds 100 In Patients 27 Admission free. Private Wards one Guinea per week. Members of
the Royal Irish Constabulary are admitted at 10s-6d per week.

St Patrick's Hospital for Incuarbles - Beds 50 In Patients 50 Admission free and by payment according to means. Cases treated as incurable are usually tubercular or carcinomatous. Out Patients attend Tuesday at 1 p.m.

Opthalmic and Aural Hospital - Beds 30 In Patients 200 Out Patients 1,700. Admission urgent cases free and by payment of 7s to 10s. Open to students attending Queen's college and
others. Out Patients attend at 11 a.m. Operations Monday and Thur.

Lock Hospital - Beds 46 In Patients 300 Admission free. The Cork Lock Hospital has been established by Government under the Contagious Diseases Act, but during the last 12 months the compulsory examination of women has been suspended, and the admissions are now voluntary. There has been a considerable decrease in the number of patients admitted under the present system.

County and City of Cork Lying-in Hospital - Beds 12 In Patients 200. Admission by subscribers recommendation. The Hospital is open to students. Respectable women taught practical midwifery and granted certificates when efficient.
