The area of the East Anglian Regional Hospital
Board was the administrative Counties of Cambridge, Huntingdon, Isle of Ely,
Norfolk, Soke of Peterborough, Suffolk (East) and Suffolk (West). The County
Boroughs of Great Yarmouth, Ipswich and Norwich.
Board address in 1949 "Croft-Holme" 117, Chesterton Road, Cambridge when the
Chairman of the Board was The Earl of Cranbrook.
The East Anglian region consisted of the following Hospital Management
Committee's
1. South West [No. 1] Group Hospital Management Committee
2. Papworth Hospital Management Committee
3. West Suffolk Hospital Management Committee
4. Ipswich Group Hospital Management Committee
5. Suffolk Mental Hospital Management Committee

8. Norwich Mental II Hospital Management Committee
9. Norfolk M.D. Hospital Management Committee
