Lutterworth Union Workhouse
Board day, alternate Thursdays, 11am at the Board Room, Workhouse. The
population of the Union in 1898 was 11,483, area 55, 094 acres and rateable
value in 1899 £101,440.
The Workhouse, at the extreme end of the Old ?market, was erected in the year
1840 to hold ? inmates. Average number of inmates 38.
