Madeley Union
The Board of Guardians meet every alternate Friday at the Union, Ironbridge, at
10am. The population of the Union in 1891 was 23,114, the area 27,964 acres and
the rateable value in 1900 £79,472.
Madeley Union consists of the following 12 parishes;
Madeley, Little Wenlock, Buildwas, Dawley Magna, Stirchley, Broseley, Benthall,
Posenhall, Barrow, Linley, Willey and Much Wenlock.
