Skipton Poor Law Union and Workhouse
Skipton Union, formed under the new poor law, extends over 47 townships, which contain together 28,764 inhabitants.
Its workhouse has room for about 200 inmates.
Mr Thos Brown is the coroner & union clerk: & Mr Charles Carr is the superintendent registrar.
