Ross Union
The Board of Guardians meet every alternate Thursday, at the Board Room, at
11am. The population of the Union in 1891 was 15,708, and the rateable value in
1899 £104,382.
The Union comprises the following places;
Aston Ingham, Ballingham, Brampton Abbotts, Bridstow, Brookhampton, Foy,
Goodrich, Harewood, Hentland, Hope Mansell, How Caple, Kings Caple, Linton,
Llandinabo, Llangarren, Llanwarne, Lea, Marstow, Pencoyd, Peterstow, Ross,
Ruardean, St Weonards, Sellack, Sollershope, Tretire-with-Michaelchurch, Upton
Bishop, Walford, Weston-under-Penyard and Yatton.
